Argentina busted ‘Russian-Germany drug network’

The Argentinean police have busted a Russian-Germany drug network operated through diplomatic courier service.

It was a Russian ambassador who informed the Argentinean police about the usage of the Russian diplomatic courier service for the transportation of cocaine.

With the help of the tip-off given by the Russian top official, to creak the root of the network, the Argentinean police officials tactically replaced the cocaine with flour and inserted small tracking devises in each of the bungles.

The plan has worked well. The police have arrested one Argentinean and three Russians in connection with the investigation.

They believe that the head of the network is a German. As per the report, the Argentinean police have already requested the support of the German government in the investigation.

The investigators have informed the media houses that they have received the support of the Russian authorities during the investigation.

At least four hundred kilograms of drugs have been seized by the Argentinean police officials from a Russian embassy annex.

The investigation is underway. At this moment, it is not clear whether any Russian diplomats have direct link with this illicit network.

So far, the German authorities have not responded to the request made by the Argentinean investigators. Germany is less likely to reject the plea of investigators.
