BANANA BUNS

INGREDIENTS:

Maida – 1 cup

Sugar – 1 tablespoon

Banana – 2 (ripe)

Oil – for frying

Salt to taste

Cumin seeds – 1 tablespoon

Curd – 1 teaspoon

Baking soda – ½ tablespoon

 

PREPARATION:

 

Peel the skin of the banana. Take a bowl and smash the banana using a fork.

Then add the salt, cumin seeds, yogurt, sugar, baking soda into the smashed banana.

Mix well and make a smooth paste.

Add maida flour into the paste and mix well and make smooth dough. Then coat the dough with some oil. Keep it aside for 5 hours in an airtight container.

Make small balls from the dough and roll the ball into slightly thick than the poori size. Dust some maida flour for avoiding sticky. Roll them to small round shape.

Heat the oil in a deep pan. Then deep fry the buns until it turns golden brown in colour both sides.

Drain the excess oil using tissue paper.

Serve it hot.
