Boko Haram ‘again’ kidnaps school girls

Boko Haram, the Nigerian-based militant organisation, has kidnapped several girls from a school located in the town of Dapchi.

Such kind of kidnapping is not uncommon in the country, in which a terrible school kidnapping incident happened around four years ago in the town of Chibok.

Surprisingly, the government, this time, has been in a confused state. It has even failed to recognise the kidnap incident at first.

The security officials and local government representatives have initially shown reluctance to accept the reality that the kidnapping has taken place in Dapchi.

When the attack has taken place, the students and teachers has find rescue inside the bush field.

There are reports that in the initial stage the government has strongly believed that those reported missing would be inside the bush filed.

As per the reports, that is the reason why the government has not recognised the kidnapping incident at the initial stage.

The residents living in the region has informed the local media houses that the security forces have strongly fought against the militants.

At this moment, it is not clear how many girls have been kidnapped from the school. Activist group Bring Back Our Girls have been lobbying the government to release the names of kidnapped girls since the news was publicised.
