CHOCOLATE COFFEE ICE CREAM

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • Cocoa powder –  ½ cup
  • Bru coffee – 1 tablespoon
  • Condensed milk – 400 gms
  • Ordinary milk – 1 ½ cup
  • Eggs – 3
  • Corn flour – 2 tablespoons

 

METHOD:

*Seperate the egg whites from the yolks and beat them in 2 different bowls.

* Mix the corn flour with the milk and add the cocoa and coffee powder to this. Mix well.

*Keep this on a slow heat and add the beaten egg yolks gradually stirring non stop till it is well blended.

*Remove from heat and add the condensed milk and mix well. Keep in the freezer to set. When, half set remove it  from the fridge and fold in the egg whites to this mixture.

*Put it back into the freezer to reset.

*When well set it is ready to be served.Sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top of each scoop while you serve.
