Emmanuel Macron leads from the front : French parliamentary elections

En Marche looks forward for a convincing win in the on going parlimeantary elections. Macrons’s La Republique En March is expected to win around 440 seats in the lower house after taking a projected vote of 32 %. They all all set to win by a huge majority, as per the estimates complied by BFMTV by Elabe.

There are a total of 577 seats in the house, of which a majority would definately have a great impact on Macron’s political policies. Macron who won the presidential elections last month, would defintely bring about a revolution by taking it from the hands of country’s traditional ruling parties.

Out of 577 seats,Macron’s party contested 526 seats. Of which, 266 are women candidates. He picked up his candidates from a cross- section of a sociely who dont even have a political background but once who have achived feats at some point of their life.

His move appears to an eye catchy one and it has helped the party to flourish from its grass root movements. Catherine Barbaroux, the party’s president, after seeing the projected results stated,  “We are grateful for the trust you have placed in all the new faces of the republic.”
