Fire Breaks out in west London residential tower.

A huge chunk of flame blazed out of a Residential tower in the early hours of Wednesday. The fire has still not been put off and the evacuating processes are still going on.  Being early hours, most of the residents residing in the tower would have woken up to the flame and no time to react. The source of fire is unknown though as it can also be because of the construction work going on in the area. The fire is said to have caught up all the way from the 2nd floor till the 27th floor

The number of people trapped inside the building is unknown , while some did jump out of the window. Around 200 Firefighters and 40 Fire engines have been deployed to stop the fire. The incident seems to have put the neighborhood in a state of dilemma. Ayyub Assaf, one of the residents was out at his cousins place a few blocks away, came running when he saw a huge flame in his building. His family stayed on the 18th floor. As he came running, he was first stopped by the police from getting into the building but later he found a way and got his family out of it. Luckily they survived. Talking to ground reporter, he said “We Bought them out and held them in our arms and the paramedics bought them to hospital. You cant get away from a fire in 18th floor, but gods grace, they got away”.

Firefighters are working pretty hard in extreme conditions to tackle the blaze. The London Mayor, Sadiq Khan called this a major incident
