Low-intensity cyclone Gita likely to inflict injury on New Zealand


A low-intensity cyclone, Gita, which inflicted serious injury on Tonga a week ago when it was in a high-intensity state, is likely to reach the Christchurch region of New Zealand in no time.

The local authorities governing the region have declared a state of emergency in the region order to avoid the potential devastation.

The authorities have already taken all necessary initiative to overcome all dangers posed by the low-intensity cyclone.

All schools operate in this region have been ordered to close down until the order to resume the operation are given.

Apart from the educational institutions, almost all major roads situated in the region have been closed down.

It is informed to the International media houses that the disaster management system is all set to face all kinds of dangers.

Those people live in the underlying regions have been asked to relocate to the safer zones arranged by the authorities.

The unpleasing disaster of high-intensity wind flow is expected in those regions situated above the sea level, while the disaster of floods is expected in the low-lying regions.

Cyclone is not new to New Zealand. It has faced and overcome several cyclones. The disaster management system of this nation is one of the most efficient disaster management teams in the world.
