Massive feedback for women wall

bhgnWomen from all walks of life lined up for the women wall event hosted in the state on Tuesday to safeguard renaissance values. More than 50 lakh women joined together along the national highway (NH) to connect the south and north ends of the state. The 15 minutes lasting event was helf from 4 pm on 620-kilometre range from Kasaragod to Ayyankali statue at Vellayabalam.

Minister K K Shailaja lead out the pledge to safeguard renaissance values at Kasaragod. At Thiruvananthapuram, Annie Raja and Brinda Karat took part in the function. Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan and V S Achuthanandan addressed the gathering after the women wall in Thiruvananthapuram.

At Kasaragod, health minister K K Shailaja lined up as the first member of the women wall. CPM politburo member Brinda Karat was the latest member at Vellayambalam.

At Kozhikode, actress Rima Kallingal and social activist Ajitha took part. Minister A K saseendran addressed the gathering. In Thrissur, district collector T V Anupama was also part of the event.
