No change in “Mexican Border Wall” plan: US President

A day after White House Chief of Staff John Kelly indirectly indicated the possibility of reconsideration in the United States’ President’s “Mexican Border Wall” plan, Donald Trump has declared through his tweeter handle that no change could be expected in the proposed border plan.

The Mexican border wall was one of the prime promises assured by the manifesto of the Republican Party, for which Trump contested the last presidential election.

What has prompted the President to come forward with such a strong statement on the wall plan is the chief of staff’s public statement that his opinion over the wall has undergone some changes.

Denouncing Kelly’s statement, the US President has said that the Mexican government should directly or indirectly pay for the wall.

Democrats are not happy with the president’s policy on those who entered the country as child.

Had the president extended his willingness to consider what the Democrats had to say about the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, he could have pushed his policies related to the immigration more easily through the US Congress.

It seems that at present the President is not in an immature state in which he was a couple of days before. There is no doubt that he is much more matured now.

Trump’s recent statement in which he tactically expressed his willingness to consider the opposition’s view on immigration is the best example of the maturity he achieved.
