RASAGULLA

INGREDIENTS

  • Milk – 4 cups
  • Lime juice – 3 tsp
  • Maida – 1 tsp
  • Baking soda – a pinch
  • Cardamom – 2
  • Water – ½ cups
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Sugar candy – a few

METHOD

  • Boil the milk. Add lime juice, when it starts boiling.
  • When the milk separates, strain the paneer in muslin cloth. Drain out all the whey.
  • Knead the paneer with baking soda and Maida into small dough.
  • Divide it into 8 equal parts.
  • Place sugar candy in the center of each portion and shape into balls.
  • Make sugar syrup with water , sugar and cardmom. boil well . put the paneer balls into the boiling syrup . boil until the balls become double the size .
