Say no to milkshakes, advice Ayurveda Experts

Every one loves milkshakes. We all know that milk and fruits are the most nutritious food items, easily available in every household, and widely consumed by all, irrespective of age. But, no one will agree if someone says that the milkshake which is the combination of fruits and milk is not a good food combination and is injurious to the health.

The fact is that milkshake is one of the wrong food combinations which one regularly consumes.

Ayurveda experts say that certain food combinations such as the combination of milk and fruits, derail the functioning of the gastric fire and unbalance the balance of ‘Vata’, ‘Pitta’ and ‘Kapha’.

The combination of sour fruits and milk is one of the unhealthiest combinations, compared to the combination of non-sour fruits and milk. The sour fruits include banana, mangoes and melons.

So, at least, try to avoid the milkshakes made of sour fruits.
