  1. Semiya – 1 cup
  2. Mixed veggies – 1 cup (chopped)
  3. Oil as required
  4. Salt as needed
  5. Mint leaves – few
  6. Coriander leaves – 3-5 strings
  7. Bay leaf 2-3
  8. Turmeric powder – a pinch
  9. Clove – 2 nos
  10. Cinnamon – 1 stick
  11. Fennel seeds – ½ tsp
  12. Ginger garlic paste – 2 teaspoon
  13. Tomato – 1 (chopped)
  14. Green chilli – 3-4 (chopped)
  15. Onion – 1




Heat a pan with oil and roast semiya  till light brown. Set aside to cool

In the same pan ,  heat 4 cups of water ,when it starts to boil , add vermicelli and cook exactly 4-5 minutes

Drain the water and keep it aside.

Heat oil in a pan , add whole spices. Sauté it for 30 minutes , when it splutters , add onion  and green chillies and fry till golden. add ginger garlic paste ..saute well

Add mixed veggies ,mint leaves and coriander leaves . stir and fry for 2 to 3 minutes , cover and cook until the veggies are cooked . you can sprinkle littile water if needed.

Add  all the spice powders and sauté for a minute. Pour water and salt . add cooked vermicelli  and cook covered on  low flame till done . keep strring now and then to prevent it from sticking to the pan

Serve hot
