  • Sesame seeds – ½ Kg
  • Jaggery – 400 gm
  • Ghee – 2 tablespoon
  • Water – 14 cup
  • Cardamom Powder – 1 teaspoon

  • Take a heavy bottom pan and add ghee, then add sesame seeds and roast it in the medium flame.
  • Roast it until it turns to start burns. Remove from the heat and keep it aside.
  • Heat the pan and melt the jaggery along with water. After boiling the water, remove the impurities using the strainer. Then pour again this solution to the same pan. Stir continuously until the jaggery becomes thick and reaches the solution in proper consistency for the til laddu.
  • Add roasted sesame seeds along with the ghee to the melted jaggery. Sprinkle cardamom powder on it. Mix it well so that the jaggery syrup gets coated with the sesame seeds evenly.
  •  Turn off the heat. When the mixture is just a little cool, grease the fingers with ghee. Take small portion of the mixture in the hands and starts shaping them into small ball shapes. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  • Tasty til laddu is ready. Serve it or cool completely and keep it in the air tight container.
