Tips to eliminate ‘Anxiety’

Sometimes, one feels nervousness or unexplainable uneasiness. It is not necessary that there should be a reason for the sudden outburst of these feelings. The sudden feeling of these feelings with or without a justifiable reason is normally called as the ‘anxiety’.

One may experience it when the teacher asks questions; or when he/she is about to attend an interview; or when he/she is waiting for the medical test result.

There is no specific treatment available to control the anxiety, but there are some simple tips using which one can contain it.

Don’t try to fight the anxiety. Try to accept the reality slowly.

The best way to fight the anxiety is to disassociate from the thoughts which trigger this feeling. Engage in some physical activities, when the anxiety starts showing its mightiness.

There is no effective medicine to this feeling than letting the mind ‘vent out’. Don’t hesitate to do that.
