TRUMP DISSAPOINTS TOP AMERICAN COMPANY CEO’S

trumpTrumps decision to exit the Paris accord leaves the top CEO’s of various major American companies disappointed. They showcased their concern over the matter by a series of tweet one after the other. Prior to the decisions, efforts were made to appeal against it. Letters and outreach to the white house from some of the CEO’s went in vain. Trump on Thursday said “We’re getting out” in a Rose Garden Announcement. But he also stated that he would re negotiate the deal that’s fair.

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk tweeted to leave presidential councils on Thursday afternoon. He also stated in his tweet that leaving Paris Accord is not a wise decision for America. A lot of other companies have come forward against the decision stating that Industry must lead as it doesn’t have any hopes on government. This is a major set back to America. Even thou Trumps vision on the exit is to create more US jobs and develop the domestic manufacturing, CEO’s find it contrasting. Apple CEO Tim Cook even placed a call to the white house to urge the president not to exit, but all their efforts seem to go in vain.
