Ukraine not to allow Russians aged 16-60 in its territory

As Ukraine has imposed martial law in order to defend the country from the threat posed by its unfriendly neighbour, no Russian aged between sixteen and sixty may be able to visit the country until the law is revoked.

It was the Russia who provoked the country to take the extreme step. A couple of days before, Russians captured three Ukrainian ships operating near the disputed region of Crimea. All these ships were taken to a Russian controlled port.

Ukrainians see Russia’s attempt to block the country’s access to the waters close to the disputed Crimea region as a serious provocation. They consider it as the preparation for invasion.

Anyway, Russia has not yet announced any retaliatory measures. Russians are well aware that if they take any severe measures the whole Europe will come against them.

It was Russia’s actions in Ukraine which made it unacceptable to the European community. Most Europeans still are of the feeling that Russia’s move to annex the Crimea region belonged to Ukraine was a clear case of provocation.

Unlike its predecessor Soviet Union, Russia is not as powerful as to neglect the warnings made by the European liberals, such as Germany, the UK, and France.
