UN tribunal convicts former Bosnian Serb Commander Mladic

The UN tribunal has convicted former Bosnian Serb commander Ratko Mladic, popularly known as Known as the “Butcher of Bosnia”, of genocide and other atrocities, such as mass rape, which he and his troops committed during the 1990s Bosnian war.

He has been handed a stiff punishment of life imprisonment for his heinous crimes by the court.

According to what it is mentioned in the history, this cruel Bosnian commander led forces during the massacre of Bosnian Muslims in Srebrenica and the siege of Sarajevo.

As many as eleven cases were charged against the commander. Of these eleven cases, the court has found him guilty in at least ten serious cases.

Mladic, who earlier indulged in disrespectful behaviour in the court, has not been allowed to enter the court room in which the historical verdict has been declared.

The evil soldier, who, in the past, denounced all allegations triggered against him, is still sticking on his previous stand that the senseless aggregations are being made against him. In the near future, he is likely to approach higher judicial platforms saying the same statement.

The 1990s Bosnian war was one of the most serious wars the world witnessed after the disastrous World War Two.

Tens of thousands of innocent people, mostly youngsters, were brutally killed in the catastrophic war.
