Amidst increasing tensions in the Korean peninsula, the United States President, Donald Trump has embarked on an eleven-day trip to Asia.

In this trip, he will visit Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam and Philippines, will take part on the crucial summits, which are going to happen next week in Asia, such as the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation Summit and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit, which is going to celebrate its 50th anniversary this year, and will hold talk with the top leaders of the region like Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who have recently marked an astounding victory in the country’s election,  South Korean President Moon Jae-in, Chinese President Xi Jinping, who have completely turned the country’s Community Party in his favour in the latest Congress by urging the party to incorporate his ideologies in the constitution and by forcing the party to accept those work at his behest as the party’s top leaders, Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang and Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.

The US supremo is likely to do all the necessary steps to forge a strong alliance with South Korean and Japan in this trip. He may urge the Chinese government to make a stiff stand against the North Korean regime, which has several times threatened the West, particularly the US.
