Yoga is a treasure. Those living in the east are abundantly blessed with this treasure. In the recent past, the art of yoga has also gained enough prominence in the west.

Several studies have found that the regular practice of yoga helps to reduce the risk of several serious physical and mental diseases, such as cancer and depression.

Yoga experts say that yoga is extremely different from exercise. They add that unlike what we experience while doing the normal exercises, the practices of breathing control and breathing exercise are the prime elements of yoga.

It is necessary that before getting into this holistic lifestyle one must learn the basics of this practice clearly.

Yoga is a lifestyle, unlike normal physical exercises or workouts, so a yogi should respect and try to follow all those restrictions suggested by the divine practice.

If one follows the holistic practice regularly, his/her body and soul would get enormous benefits, including strong immune system and strong mental state.
